POWERWING II - This extraordinary innovation is easily noticed by just looking at it. The 3D technology of the Supreme and SX boards is generated by the CNC-milled OXY-1 core. Combined with the new wonder material HYPER Carbon it ensures direct and even transmission of power over the entire effective edge length. When the board is ridden flat on the snow, the 3D geometry of the tip and tail uses the harmonious flex for better turn initiation and also guarantees softer and at the same time safer landings. The higher the edging angles the higher the torsional rigidity which in turn produces better acceleration, perfect ice-grip and smoother riding.

SSC-SUPER SIDECUT - A snowboarding turn basically consists of three phases – turn initiation (the beginning), a center point (where the greatest pressure occurs) and the exiting phase. The resulting force consisting of the weight of the rider and centrifugal force wanders along the board's transversal axis. As a consequence the requirements on the design of the sidecut change, which is taken into account by the Scc geometry providing constant power transmission during every phase of the turn.

LITE TEC - The further development of Oxygen’s own technology is also the best on the market. The CNC milled channels on the underside of the OXY-4 core reduce the internal stresses that are produced in every board during turns. The resulting 15 % weight reduction and perfect maneuverability of the board make it the new technological leader. The HYPER Carbon rods built into the channels guarantee direct transmission of power and unsurpassed riding performance with maximum comfort.

CERAMIC SCIFER SUSPENSION - Thin ceramic and metal fibres are woven into the prepreg fibreglass. Two of these stringers run diagonally across the bottom layer of the board. Since Ceramic Scifer has got high tensile strength, it provides a 25% better rebound (than the competitors’ materials) in all temperatures.
PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT
The board's sidecut is cut like an egg. The larger entry radius of the front half of the board permits faster and better initiation of turns. In contrast, the construction's smaller exiting radius at the rear of the board provides excellent edge grip and explosive turns.
RADIAL SIDECUT
The radial sidecut of the board's edge creates a simple and aggressive edge profile for smoother turns.

DIAMOND DISC EDGE FINISH - A side edge bevel of 2° and a 1° bevel on the base, cut with diamond discs produce a sharp edge angle of 89° that guarantees perfect ice-grip when turning. Moreover, the 1° bevel on the base ensures easy drifting and simple turn initiation when the snowboard is lying flat on the snow. Diamond Disc Edge Finish is a standard feature of all Oxygen snowboards.

MICROSTONE BASE FINISH - A stone polished base finish, that creates microscopic channels in the base structure. When electrostatics cause the snow to melt it is transported away from the base while the snowboard glides over the snow. This produces less friction during turns ensuring smoother gliding properties and better drifting when the snowboard is ridden flat over the snow. Microstone Base Finish is a standard feature of all Oxygen snowboards.
